The Corrosion Center investigates the behavior of materials of interest under the following tests:
- Exfoliation Corrosion
- Stress Corrosion Cracking
- Pitting Corrosion
- Intergranular Corrosion
- Filiform Corrosion
- Galvanic Corrosion
- Neutral Salt-Spray Corrosion
- Corrosion Fatigue
Experiments
The experiments realized include:
- Simulation of the environmental conditions which the application of the material of interest entails.
- Interlaboratory test
- Control of the repeatability and reproducibility of the results.
- Use of calibrated equipment.
